Sara Glusman
Sara is currently a senior who serves as co-curator. Her favorite thing about TEDx is the week of the event spending every second at school with the team to prep. Outside of school, she plays soccer and the guitar, is involved in BBYO and the Jewish Affinity Group, and enjoys hanging out with friends. Fun fact - Sara can't touch her toes!
Naiya Daswani
Naiya Daswani is a current senior at The Harker School and serves as co-curator for TEDxHarkerSchool. In addition to TEDx, Naiya is on the Harker Honor Council. In her free time, Naiya enjoys writing blog articles, leading community activism, playing the piano and tabla, and volunteering with children at her temple.
Vedant Balachandran
Vedant is currently a senior who serves as Director of Marketing. His favorite thing about TEDx is the chaos of the actual event. Outside of school, Vedant enjoys watching movies/TV shows and playing with his dog, Hobbes. Fun fact - Vedant once threw fries at faculty!
Anwen Hao
Anwen is currently a senior who serves as the Director of Public Relations. His favorite thing about TEDx is seeing the TEDx event spark new and insightful lunchtable conversations. Outside of school, he dances ballet and does fencing. A fun fact about Anwen is that he has two cats!
Minal Jalil
Minal is currently a junior who serves as the Director of Booths. Her favorite aspect of TEDx is learning from the diverse set of backgrounds, stories, and perspectives of individuals bold enough to speak their truth. Minal enjoys reading and playing basketball. Fun fact - Minal loves board and card games!
Mindy Truong
Mindy is currently a junior who serves as Marketing Associate. Her favorite thing about TEDx is the people on the team! Outside of school, Mindy plays the piano and is involved in Tri-M. Fun fact - Mindy is good at drawing spongebob characters!
Abigail Sacshe
Abby is currently a sophomore and serves as Marketing Associate. Her favorite thing about TEDx is the creativity of the officer team. Outside of school, she loves to draw, compete in DECA, and lift weights. Fun fact - Abby has an addiction to ice cream!
David kelly
David is currently a sophomore who serves as Speaker Outreach. His favorite thing about TEDx is reaching out and connecting with interesting individuals. Outside of school, he is involved in water polo and DECA and enjoys biking. Fun fact - David would like a pet racoon.
Trisha Shivakumar
Trisha is currently a sophomore who serves as Booth Outreach. Her favorite thing about TEDx is seeing the event come to life. Outside of school, Trisha is a rower and does competitive robotics. Fun fact - Trisha has an army of penguin stuffed animals at home!
Patrick kelly
Mr. Kelly is a business and entrepreneurship teacher at The Harker School where he teaches business courses and advises extracurricular programs including TEDX Harker School, Harker DECA, and Media Workshop. Prior to joining Harker, he was a professional science communicator, and has created over 200 educational videos about biology and health. These days, he creates content about the history of healthcare on his YouTube channel<http://www.youtube.com/@patkellyteaches>. He earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Chapman University, and a Masters of Science degree from Arizona State University.
