For the booth at TEDxHarkerSchool, the focus is on the “Puffin Internet Terminal” and the “Puffin OS Phone”.
Puffin Internet Terminal is a Raspberry Pi running Puffin Web Browser. Puffin browser on the $35 Raspberry Pi is faster than Chrome browser on the Pixel Book costing more than $1,000.
Puffin OS Phone is a super low-end phone running customized open-source Android with Puffin Web Browser as the primary app. Web apps running on the $35 Puffin Phone is faster than native apps running on the Pixel Phone costing more than $350.

Manju Chinnappa has been influenced both by science and art-in a very genetic sort of way. As a scientist with a Ph.D in Molecular Biology, she always been very passionate about her work. Her dad is a scientist and from him and many after-dinner family discussions, she became curious about outer space, life, and growing a creative mind. Her mom is an artist, and while Manju was growing up, she painted with oils late into the night. Manju painted sunsets in Vietnam with the majestic Halong Bay and explored art in countries like Cambodia, and Laos. She now paints landscapes from my travels as she relives the journeys through watercolor paintings to share the beauty, peace, color and the timelessness of nature.
